Correct me if I'm wrong, but my impression has been that most well-built, well-designed, not-too-ancient boards, if properly maintained, should experience mild enough crosstalk, circuit parameter drift, etc. Great questions! The sonic properties I'm primarily interested in modeling are noise, distortion, and frequency response, as I believe those three properties far and away dominate whatever noticeable signature any given board will tend to have. I'm sure at least a few of you have 80s and 90s era mixers lying around-here's your chance to put them to use for the good of the Reason community and get yourself a Reason-based emulation of them in the process. If anyone here has access to an older (say pre-2000) hardware mixer, you can easily provide some sorely needed assistance! All you'll need to do is run my brief test track through the mixer and record and post the output, which should only take you a couple of minutes.
